Goosh.org - the unofficial google shell
ist ein neues Projekt von mir.
Es ist ein Commandline Interface für google.
Wenn man goosh.org im Browser öffnet kann man einfach Befehle eingeben und mit return absenden (z.B. “images Mars” für Bilder vom Mars, “news Nasa” für Nachrichten, die die Nasa betreffen, oder “place Hamm” wenn man wissen will wo Hamm liegt).
Eine Übersicht der Befehle bekommt man mit “help”.

Nette Idee. Bist auch schon eine Meldung bei slashdot.org geworden. Nur manchmal ist die Seite noch etwas langsam.

Hi, Of course amazing, I love having only information as clear as with your shell. A question (I know it could be quite difficult), Have you think about parsing html to shell? Like ‘view www.tomshardware.com’ because I think lynx is so much complex than this shell.

genial… nur eines: da google jetzt ein neues favicon relaunched hat könntest du doch das alte verwenden… naja, vielleicht urheberrechtlich fraglich… aber das alte favicon war viel schöner

aber eine frage: kann man sich default mehr, als 4 ergebnisse ausgeben lassen? hab nichts dazu gefunden. (wenn es so etwas noch nicht geben sollte, bitte implementieren *g)

Goosh ist jetzt seit einer Woche meine Firefox-Startseite und ich möchte es nicht mehr missen. Mir fehlen nur noch Individualisierungsmöglichkeiten (>4 Ergebnisse bzw. >28 Ergebnisse total).

Sag mal, hast du dir schon mal überlegt damit zu den Nutznießern deiner
Shell zu gehen und für die zu arbeiten, dass wäre das vernünftigste, was
Google in puncto Cloud Computing und Services machen könnte. Deine Unix-artige Shell als Basis und die besten Web.20 oder anderen XML-Dialekte als GUI…aka GOOGLEOS

coole idee, coole umsetzung, cooler wäre noch more plain , zb einfach eine weiße seite nur mit cursor, ergebnisse nicht numerieren, und vielleicht superlight wo als ergebnis nur die links angezeigt werden, ohne zwischenreihe mit zwei verschiedenen farben, -> kleine anregung zu deiner coolen umsetzung
